The Chase Begins

So I'm finally going to start this photo project I've been talking about for over a year now. As you can see it 's called The Steeple Chase. Over the next year I will be researching and taking photo's and blogging about as many church steeples,mosque's or whatever types of religious architecture in Brooklyn. As most of us know Brooklyn is the 4th largest city in the US with over 2.5 million residents. I'm trying to figure out exactly how many churches there really are,but this may take a while. First,I'll start with some rough shots and then as time passes and I get better at using my camera I'll set up some albums and then try to categorize them accordingly. I will also list the names and address' with each photo if possible. I really want to do this because I just find the architecture,history and for the simple fact that no matter where you are in Brooklyn you will always find a steeple of sorts standing out in whatever neighborhood your in. Just another reason we all love the BK! This should be a fun project and if anyone has any good knowledge for my research or knows some great streets or hoods with what I'm looking for please feel free to let me know. Also, if anyone would like to come shoot or lend a hand I'm always welcome to advise and help. Thanks everyone in advance. Let the chase begin!
